We had an amazing day recently at Asda Hatfield, where our trustees were invited to collect donations at the front of the store — tins in hand, smiles at the ready!

While Asda no longer runs their green token scheme, they’re still doing fantastic things to support local causes. Thanks to their brilliant Community Champion Beverley Ashdown, we were given the opportunity to speak to shoppers, raise awareness of what we do, and collect donations for The Craft Room.

And wow — what a lovely bunch the Asda customers are! Every coin dropped into a tin helps us deliver creative sessions, support children through holiday camps, and run inclusive wellbeing workshops for adults.

It’s heartwarming to see how much our community believes in the power of creativity and connection.

To everyone who stopped by to chat, donated, or just gave us a smile — thank you. And of course, a big high-five to Beverley and the Asda team for making it all possible!

Keep your eyes peeled for more community pop-ups and ways to get involved — and come visit us soon at our new hub in The Howard Centre. 🎨🧡
