A Creative Summer at Breaks Manor

This summer, The Craft Room welcomed children aged 5–11 to our summer craft camps at Breaks Manor Youth and Community Centre for three days of creativity, games, food and plenty of fun.

Across the three days, the children had the chance to try a range of different creative activities. We got stuck into diamond art painting, made colourful masks, and built and decorated our own planet models. Each activity gave the children the opportunity to try something different, get creative and take pride in what they had made.

Of course, a craft camp isn't complete without plenty of games and time to have fun together! The children enjoyed a mixture of activities throughout the days, giving them the chance to be active, socialise and make new friends alongside the creative sessions.

Lunchtime was another important part of each day, with lovely freshly prepared lunches cooked for the children. Sitting down together for lunch gave everyone a chance to refuel, chat about their morning and get ready for the afternoon activities.

Our three-day summer camp was a lovely mix of crafts, games, food and friendship, giving children a fun and welcoming place to spend part of their school holidays.

We loved seeing the children get stuck into each activity and watching their personalities come through in their creations. From sparkly diamond art to colourful masks and out-of-this-world planet models, there was certainly no shortage of creativity!

A big thank you to our staff, volunteers and everyone who helped make the summer camp possible. We look forward to welcoming the children back for more creative fun during the next school holidays! 🎨✨🚀
